Apparently, I have a lot of artwork on my PC that hasn't been uploaded yet. I don't know why I haven't posted them yet so.. here you go!
This was a concept idea for one of my stories that dealt with a zombie outbreak. The city has been quarantined (the sign is supposed to say some small town name but I forgot to write it lol) and these troops have been deployed to recover a missing scientist who might have some idea of what's going on. They find the scientist's car crashed in a tree but there's no sign of the passengers by the wrecked car.
Anyways, that's about the jist of it. This was done in pen and India Ink. I used a photo ref for the helicopter and the troops dropping out.
You did a good job with the helicopter. At first I figured you served in the military because it looked like there was something personal behind it. I like it!
I've always felt like serving but I don't think I'd cut it in the military, partly cause of my eyesight... anyways, I'm glad you liked it.

India ink is great for shading. You should try it. I would say it's like using watercolours, but I haven't touched those since... phew.. since like 6th grade.

Well, I don't know how old you are, not that I'm asking, but you can get a waiver depending on your career. Unless you need the bottom of a vodka bottle as lenses then you shouldn't be too bad off. As for the age, I think it's still 25 years old. At least for the United States Air Force.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
