Well this was supposed to be a picture for Valentine's but seeing how I'm so late we'll just forget about that part.

Once a soldier, Rokem is now a ronin wandering the world not quite sure where his path will lead him. After meeting Faye by chance, the two team up and travel together. Both care for eachother deeply, but Rokem's way of life makes it hard for anything to form between them. Yes, it's very vague indeed. That's because I haven't worked on the the storyline much yet (mainly been creating the universe)... but can you say love interest ?

I just love how the hands came out in this drawing, especially those of Faye. This is also one of the first drawings I've tried with 2 characters and some "interesting" perspectives (mainly Rokem) and I think it came out pretty good. I had a little trouble when I was drawing Rokem but I think in the end he came out just fine. I didn't add certain details to Rokem's apparel, like his gun and sword holster (I was getting fustrated already and if I had tried to add them I probably would have never finished), but those details are minimal and dont effect the overall piece too much.

Next thing to complete: the bar scene. I haven't worked on it since I started this one but now that this is out of the way I can go and finish that too. I might ink it since this drawing was such a pain with the smearing and the cleanup.
